A Modern Country Garden

All Seasons transformed this compact traditional cottage garden into a modern, relaxing low maintenance haven.

Incorporating a bespoke water wall gave the limited space a sense of added depth, a visual centrepiece and a sense of calm. We used soft Sandstone tiles on the floor, added raised beds and built an arbour to frame the dining area. Woven oak panel fencing adds a contemporary but traditional charm.

The owners particularly enjoy the water feature lit at night from their adjacent lounge. Planting a bank of silvery Hostas forms a luscious Evergreen border. The pretty galvanised Dolly tubs planted with lime green ferns added sculptural elegance. Around the water feature we planted Astrantias to soften the hard edges. We encouraged Clematis and a Grape vine to form a soft, fragrant canopy around the arbour.

Finishing touches, included a dash of bright orange in this architectural table and chairs.

The final result, a stylish garden the owners can enjoy but can also lock up and leave whilst they enjoy their other passion, travelling.
